Night longboarding

Yesterday night I felt like longboarding in the dark. I took a short ride and allmost got hit by a car because I had no lights on. So kids here is the lesson: "When you longboard at night always wear lights!"

Longboarding with Mark

Had a good ride again. This time my friend Mark joined me with his Madrid longboard. We went to Goese Meer because it has nice asphalt roads and to the kattendijksedijk to try some downhill. So we bombed some hills and It felt really cool. We also tried some tricks, mark taught me to do a proper cross step. I did some manuals again and tried to chop the wood but it felt weird. I learned to turn my board 180°. Mark his best trick today: "jumping 180° on his board" so he turned from regular to goofy and back. Our big conclusion of today was that sitting on your board while riding is gay...

First good ride

Today I had my first good ride. I practiced some basics like the foot brake and carving, and I also tried cross steppin' and manual. After some trial and error I learned to do the cross steppin'. It really was fun to do. Tomorrow I will have another ride, then my friend wil join me with his Madrid longboard.

Time to ride

I got my longboard since a couple of weeks now. Unfortunately the weather wasn't that good to try it out (snowy and rainy). So I only took one test ride on it. That was a ride to school and a weekend to Enschede with the train to meet a friend. But today the weather is nice: 6°C sunny with a cloudless sky. Time for a test ride! And maybe trying some tricks.
